Intertraff inaugurates a new class of portable speed camera. CNC machined from a solid aluminum alloy and satin anodized in an array of colors to prevent scratching, D-cop is light and compact. It features an ingenious magnetically attached side door that provides quick and easy access to lens adjustment.
D-cop Mobile is a flexible digital speed enforcement system for both tripod and in-vehicle mounting applications. Ideal for all mobile speed enforcement applications, D-cop captures accurate violation images across four lanes of traffic.
Speed enforcement using laser guns, can only detect one vehicle per time. Conversely, D-cop Mobile uses radar technology to accurately determines vehicle speed, range and target information, offering lane specific speed enforcement and simultaneous offence capture
over four lanes of traffic.
The data captured by the D-cop system is encrypted in compliance with Triple DES or
AES 12 Standards. This provides security for evidence in conviction cases as the data
cannot be altered by unauthorized operators.
D-cop is available with a colour or monochrome megapixel camera, each with a choice of two lenses, to suit every location and operational environment and it’s available with visible or infra red illumination to accurately capture violations at night.
Designed to work in harsh weather conditions, the D-cop is tested in most extreme environments to perform faultless. Its industrial grade components perform perfectly without the requirement of either heaters or fans, and provide a combination of zero maintenance and low power consumption which allows the system to work at -25º +65ºC.
D-cop uses a Lithium-ion battery which is the ultimate in weight versus power technology.
Equipped with an internal microprocessor that extends performance and protects cells from overcharging, the internal battery does not only uses an innovative fast charging method which quickly reaches 95% in less then 20 minutes but it also provides enough power to run the D-cop continuously for +12 Hours.
Set up and configuration of our speed mobile camera has never been so easy. Police Operator may use his laptop or tablet to remotely control the D-cop via Wi-Fi. The software interface was designed to be simple and user friendly. Navigation terms use plain language. Help file are also available for reference and guidance. On the other side, infringement processing is carried out via Copland, an intuitive management software.
No tedious site calibration is needed and operator errors can in no way lead to false measurements. Once set up and configured, D-cop can be operated without manual intervention.
